Few have never had to deal with those ugly black dots on the face. In fact, blackheads are very common and can affect the entire face, but predominantly appear on the area around the nose, as well as the chin and forehead.
You can try to conceal them with makeup, but this is only temporary. Or, you can opt for squeezing them out, but this is rather risky as it can lead to a skin infection. Plus, squeezing blackheads is not recommended because it can leave large pores on your face.
You can also consider beauty salon treatments, but these can be quite pricey.
Luckily, there’s a simple home remedy, which isn’t only low-cost, but it’s also extremely efficient in removing blackheads.
1. The first step you need to take is remove the dead skin cells, which trap blackheads in the pores of your skin. You can effectively do this with a simple face peeling.
You don’t need to buy expensive cosmetic products for this. Simply wet your face and apply some coffee grounds or oatmeal. Rub your face with circular movements either with your bare hand or with a clean towel. Do this for about five minutes. After that, wash your face thoroughly.
2. Now, your face is well prepared for the next step. Boil some chamomile in water and remove the pot from heat. Lean over the pot and cover your head with a towel. Steam your face for about ten minutes. This is extremely important as it opens your pores and eases the extraction of blackheads. Plus, this is also beneficial for your sinuses too.
3. The last step is creating a mask that clears blackheads and cleanses your pores. For this you need 4 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 cup of mineral water. Stir this mixture until well blended and apply on your face, but make sure you avoid the eye area.
Leave it on your face for ten minutes and then wash it off.
